On 3 December 1926, detective novelist Agatha Christie, best known for her series of books featuring detectives Hercules Poirot and Miss Marple , mysteriously disappears for 11 days

Agatha Christie’s disappearance was featured  on the most important newspaper, but despite the extensive manhunt, she was not found for 10 days.

On 14 December 1926, she was spotted in a hotel in Yorkshire, registered as Mrs Teresa Neele. (the surname of her husband’s lover) from  Cape Town
