Victoria (1819 –1901) was Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death.
Her coronation took place on 28 June 1838 at Westminster Abbey.
Her reign of 63 years and seven months, which was longer than that of any other British monarch, is known as the Victorian era, a period of industrial, cultural, political, scientific, and military change within the United Kingdom, marked by a great expansion of the British Empire

In 2015, she was surpassed by the reign of her great-great-granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II, who became the longest-reigning British monarch and the longest-reigning queen regnant and female head of state in world history.
