World Dream Day

World Dream Day takes place on 25th September: it is a global day of action dedicated to encouraging and activating ideas, goals, and dreams.
The purpose of the day is to honour the dreamer, visionary, and innovator in all of us, and to help each of us to take a stand for what we truly desire and deserve, for ourselves, and for our world.

ꕥ “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.” (A.P.J. Abdul Kalam)

ꕥ “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” (C.S. Lewis)

ꕥ “Nothing happens unless first we dream.” (Carl Sandburg)

ꕥ “A winner is a dreamer who never gives up.” (Nelson Mandela)

ꕥ “Consult not your fears but your hopes and your dreams. Think not about your frustrations, but about your unfulfilled potential. Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.” (Pope John XXIII)

  1. Words of Calderón de la Barca come to mind:
“Qué es la vida? Un frenesí.
Qué es la vida? Una ilusión, una sombra, una ficción,
    y el mayor bien es pequeño;
Que toda la vida es sueño,
    Y los sueños sueños son.”
I think you can understand the words in Spanish. Pretty similar.
A beautiful text, with only one doubt on my part: “Y el mayor bien es pequeño”.
Maybe you can analyse it? 😉
    Ciao, ciao
