Acrostico 🔤

Riaffioro lentamente,
Emergendo dalla
Liquida distesa
In cui mi ero immersa per
Tentar di trovar
Tesori sommersi,
Orgogliosa della mia conchiglia bianca.

The language game I’d like to suggest this week is an Acrostic that refers to Adrienne Rich’s poem and spells out the word Wreck

Wars always
Ravage
Everything
Cancelling life
Knowingly

If you want to play, please write acrostics in your own language: they will be published here⤵️

aparna12 sent this delightful acrostic, allowing herself a poetic license from the proposed word:

Don’t get offended if anyone calls you stupid because STUPID stands for
S Smart
T Talented
U Unique
P Person
I In
D Demand.

Endless Weekend also deviated from the proposed word, but this is such a lovely acrostic that it deserves a place here:

P Permitting

      1. OMG.
        Be careful

      2. Ben oui… (My eldest daughter is an MD and an infectologist…)

  2. Hello, Dear Luisa! This reminds me of a song by Zucchero “Il Libro del Amore”. I know it by heart and sing it for my family. I hope, that someday, we will meet in person… And, If I may, I would sing it for You! And kiss your hand. Thank you for your kindness. Yours, Nikki.
