    1. Luisa ! Claude Monet is not wrong when he says that the art is meant for love and not for understanding . Art is virtually the inner expression of the artist . It can never be understood altogather until and unless you understand the mind of the artist . So , better love the art and enjoy it . Thanks !

    L’artista più delle volte non comprende se stesso figuriamoci se devi farsi comprendere da altri. L’artista vive nel suo mondo creativo, tutto il resto è contorno. Ciao Luisa, buon pomeriggio 💓

  6. Radiant art and pic. Every artist would desire their works to be interpreted in a particular way, but the audience deserve the liberty to interpret it in their own way. Nature is the art of God. If God could have denied us the liberty to interpret nature in our own way, we couldn’t have found fun in living. 💖💖

  10. I only have two criteria when I look at art. 1) Do I like it? 2) Do I not like it? I care not what the artist’s state of mind was, what he had for breakfast or what his motivation was. Monet could convey a feeling with his brush strokes. So glad we were able to see so many of his works in the Orangerie in Paris. Happy Monday Luisa. Allan

    Fate casino, su’, cari ragazzi,
    l’arte ammirate pur se gran baccano 
    fate fra voi . . . fare “cose ‘e pazzi”
    perdonato vien se non invano
     
    un Caravaggio voi avete visto
    un Botticelli, il Tondo Doni e
    la Fornarina o di Giotto il Cristo,
    la Cappella Sistina, il Mosè. 
     
    Pur se non si riempie il paniere
    d’acqua si bagna, resta qualche cosa 
    in mente sempre, e un dì con piacere
     
    lo ricorderete, e sarà una ‘rosa’
    per voi, o di buon vino un bicchiere. 
    La bellezza dell’arte è contagiosa 
     
    pur se soltanto un po’ su voi si posa.
     
    Si, l’ammirarla più buoni vi fa 
    e di ciò gran bisogno, ah, se ci sta.
     
    Ripeto, fate pure un gran casino
    ma l’arte incamerate, anche pochino.
     
    Vi son concessi pure baci e abbracci,
    o due selfie innanzi ad un Carracci.
     
    Sarà vostra compagna nel cammino
    di vita, e segnerà il vostro destino.
     
    Amate Michelangelo o Modì,
    il nuovo Tedaldi o Dalì.
     
    un Pietro da Cortona o un Bronzino,
    un Andrea del Sarto o un Perugino.
     
    E or via! . . . A piedi o in motorino.

    1. Bellissima! Sottolinei meravigliosamente e poeticamente un’idea che ho sempre sostenuto anche quando insegnavo: portare i ragazzi a fare visite non è perdita di tempo, perché anche a quelli apparentemente disinteressati qualcosa resta sempre nella mente e nel cuore.
