Coronavirus

Italy is under quarantine and this COVID-19 lockdown will probably last until April 3.

People throughout the country must not leave their homes except for work or emergencies, carrying a pass where they state the nature of their travel.
Schools, universities, libraries, cinemas, galleries and gyms are closed; all public gatherings, including weddings and funerals, are banned and sporting events suspended.

The need  to stay at home is a decision made also to protect the most vulnerable people in the country… and at age 70, I belong to this category.

I hope we will soon be able to get back to doing all the things we love.

  2. I keep thinking: poor Italy, but it’s poor humanity. All of us, everywhere, hope our dear ones will not perish.Canada had more time to prepare, but this is a new virus. Dr Fauci, at 79, is leading the fight in the United States. He had to convince Mr Trump and may have to convince him again and again. Take good care of yourself.

  3. Ti capisco molto bene.
I migliori auguri e buona salute.

  5. A though for you Luisa, and stay safe! I think Italy has done a great job, although nobody was prepared and could see the dramatic large picture that gradually formed in front of all of us. And it’s damned painful to see that too many people didn’t get through it. I hope the strict measures will drive the curve down as soon as possible.
