“I dream my painting, and then I paint my dream”.

In his letters to his brother Theo, Vincent van Gogh wrote:
🌸 “I always think that the best way to know God is to love many things.” (1880)
🌸 “Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.” (1882)
🌸 “Poetry surrounds us everywhere, but putting it on paper is, alas, not so easy as looking at it.” (1883)
🌸💮🌸💮🌸💮🌸

Posso chiederti dove sei esattamente?

I don’t seem to catch your blogs at the right time, and had forgotten why I followed you. So this evening I stopped by and read your thoughts and really enjoyed what I read. You are well versed in information on various historical things and people, which I love. Hope to come back soon and continue the reading journey!

Nice collaboration! .. reminded Gogh had interested in Ukiyo-e prints .. and nowadays we have more cherry blossoms but once upon a time a time plum (… and peach ) blossoms used to be more popular in Japan and especially a lot of poems related to plum blossoms 🙂

The best way to know God is to love many things ….
This is true considering the fact that in the Bible God refers to this as “church” communicating and loving others is basically church.
